2230.1 Operations – Virus Protection

It is the responsibility of the Information Technology (IT) Department to provide virus protection. It is the responsibility of the District-Wide Technology Committee to define procedures for the enforcement of this policy and accompanying regulation. It also is the responsibility of all users of any aspect of the Thomaston Public Schools, computer network to take measures to protect that network from virus infections and to inform the Building Administrator of any real or suspected viruses.
