6130 Organizational Plan

The Board of Education is responsible for public education in the Town of Thomaston, pre-school through grade 12, including special education and adult education. Education shall be delivered through instructional level groupings in school facilities approved by the Board after consideration of recommendations from the Superintendent of Schools. 

The Board has approved the following plan for the organization of instruction in the district's public schools. 

Thomaston Public Schools and Grades Housed

Black Rock School                 PK-3 

Thomaston Center School     4-6

Thomaston High School        7-12

Alternate Education               9-12
